RAUL: "Seguir sin ti is something sober, elegant and classy''.

Hi Raul,

It is a real pleasure to speak with you, we thank you for having some time in your busy schedule, we want to tell you that, eurofans in Latin America received positively, the news about your name in the preselection of Spain this year.

For the fans of the most important musical event in Europe tell us:

OGAE ROW LATIN AMERICA: After your participation in 2000 (in the local competition) with the song "Sueño tu boca", you had a break of several years in the music, until the release of your album "Contramarea" in 2011, what made you decide to try again to represent Spain?

RAUL: It was not premeditated. I met William Luque by a different project and, when I heard the track ''Seguir sin ti'', I realized it was the perfect theme for my candidacy.

OGAE.R.L.A: "Sueño tu boca" is a song with a latin beat, with those Spanish sounds that can not be miss in this kind of proposals, now you will try to represent Spain with "Seguir sin ti", a totally different bet. Emotions and expectations that surrounded you while this beautiful ballad was made?

RAUL: It is a safe bet for all audiences, as an artist I always wanted to sing again my origins in music, great ballads accompanied by a loud voice.

OGAE.R.L.A: According a Spanish online publication, your entry would take a major change , "Seguir sin ti" cease to be a ballad for a more electronic influence ? Can you forward something of the final version?

RAUL: Well, we have already made public and as you will see, is not electronic, only has been modernized a little to have a more current sound.

OGAE.R.L.A: Your musical style is well received among the Latino community, would you like to boost your career in a future tour in our continent ?

RAUL: I have been fortunate to promote my work in several Latin American countries, and retake that experience would be very rewarding.

OGAE.R.L.A: The Eurovision projection has impacted very positively in Latin America, we are increasing ourselves every year and we are pending of the different processes of the festival. Did know this? What do you think about it?

RAUL: Of course I was aware, also there are more followers of Festival De Viña Del Mar here in Spain, any fusion of musical cultures is good for the creation and renovation of new genres and trends.

OGAE.R.L.A: ¿What are the main qualities that "Seguir sin ti" and you, have to make this entry the one to represent Spain in Copenhagen?

RAUL: My proposal "Seguir sin ti" is very clear, we present something sober, elegant and classy, it has already worked in other occasions and the song is very up to the festival.

OGAE.R.L.A: ¿Why do you think since some years ago, representing Spain has been so severely punished at the polls ?

RAUL: I do not think it has been it, there have been occasions when the scores have been very positive as the review, but we can not generalize our participation by the fact that sometimes we have not stand out well.

OGAE.R.L.A: ¿What do you think would be the formula for your country and star getting results as the one in 2004 in Kiev, where achieved a tenth?

RAUL: If one knew that formula, we all will twist around her, but the festival is excitement and risk, innovation helps to evolve though, sometimes we do not get the desired result.

OGAE.R.L.A: Again, thank you for your kindness and your willingness to answer our questions, we wish you the best, not only in the pre-selection, but in your career, hopefully to have you visiting our countries later, to finish, please send a greeting to all those fans of the festival in Latin America.
